How to use the Self Love Marketing Roadmap to get the clients you're looking for.

Does your marketing communication look a bit like this:


"I’m so inspired let’s post now" . . .  and next you forget all about it.
Or
"I already told people about this offer, I don’t want to annoy them anymore."
Or
"I just don’t feel like it, I go quiet for a week, or two weeks, or a month"
Or
"I have such a great idea, I’ll study everything there is to know about SEO until I’m an expert" (But you never implement)
Or
"You know what, this is just too overwhelming, everyone is better than me, let them come to me, or not. I give up."
Or
"Why can’t people understand what I can do for them?"

So there you are.

You’re an expert. You’ve got a purpose drive business, you absolutely love what you do, you’re a beacon for your clients. Your business means everything to you.

You are so focused on your business that when it comes to marketing you suddenly go … meh. Do I really have to do this?

Here is The Roadmap to Great Marketing

1. LOVE

Marketing is Connecting from the Heart and love is your fuel. When you nourish unapologetic love for yourself - so that you can shine daringly and stop hiding and make yourself small and invisible - your business and brand, marketing, messaging, soul clients, team, purpose, revenue, etc. every part of your business is infused with love, 

Love infused marketing has no space for FOMO - Fear of Missing Out. There is zero need to hustle yourself into burn-out. No werk, werk, werk. You just do what you love.

2. Your Audience

Understanding who your soul clients are, their desires, and why they need your solution is paramount. When you don’t know WHO you’re talking TO you might as well be silent (but don’t be really silent, okay! because you can only find out when you take action.)

DO THIS: Ask yourself what your soul clients need to hear from you so that they recognize you as the woman they need. Erase all marketing messaging that is not aligned. 

3. PURPOSE 

Your purpose-driven brand has a particular cause, mission, purpose, or vision that sets you apart from your peers. Use it to stand out. Trying to fit in is bad for business and for your soul. There’s a reason this purpose has found its way to your heart. So now it’s your sacred duty to spread your message.

Your aligned marketing serves your purpose. Always. Please, don’t fall into the trap of the thousand ever-changing ‘fast marketing schemes’.  Though there is a lot of good stuff going on, always check if what you want to do is aligned with your purpose, your audience's needs, and love.

DO THIS: Ask your business besties if they can sense your purpose when they look at your marketing and branding. Do they have to guess or don't feel a thing? It's time to align your brand with your purpose. We would love to teach you how to do that at the Self Love Success Club. 

4. STRATEGY

When you are a purpose-driven, heart-centered, and creative entrepreneur planning might not be your thing. Because seriously! Je suis une artiste :-) "

But remember that your smart marketing plan is an Express Lane towards achieving your goals. 

Maybe you’re only on social media and never blog, which means that literally thousands of people are missing out on you.  By the way, here are 10 proven ways to get clients without social media .

The desired direction of your business and brand determines your marketing communications choices.  What I mean by that is: if your clients are CEO's of Middle Large Food Manufacturing Companies who love to play golf and you're on Clubhouse listening to conversations about mind tricks, you might have a great time but it won't bring you clients. Because they are on Linkedin.  Also, you might want to start playing golf yourself.

Also,  think long-term strategy and not next week. Great marketing takes time, focus and looking both at this week and far away into next year (s) to come.

DO THIS: take a closer look at where you want to be within 12 months and check if everything you do at this moment will take you to that goal (and more). Don't rely on hope because that will always leave you behind feeling like every goal is eventually unattainable. 

5. CREATIVITY AND KNOWLEDGE

Let's make marketing fun! Explore your creativity in marketing. This is your chance to take great pictures and dive into Canva. Do more of what you love and what works to keep it fun and exciting.

I hear it again and again: I don't care about the openings rate of my emails, I don't care when people read my social media posts, I don't care about SEO. 

But basic knowledge about marketing and technology is part of being in business (and you can hire or consult for elements outside your Zone of Genius) Having this all set up will ultimately set you free. Once all your systems and processes are up and running you will reap the rewards.

I'm thinking luscious baths with first flush Sencha tea and a face mask while your systems do the work for you. 

DO THIS: Check all your social media insights (go to settings) and check how many accounts you reached, what post worked well. Find out how and where people found you. Was it a referral or a post that spoke to them? Measure everything! And do more of what works.

6. PERSISTENCY

If you are a multi-passionate entrepreneur, consistency might be truly challenging. So let's go for persistency instead.

Online content marketing are using the power of platforms like Google, Social Media, Podcasts, YouTube, etc. But also offline media like newspapers, books, and magazines ultimately all relies on online platforms. That makes consistent marketing - done the right way - incredibly powerful.

Repetition and consistency are key ingredients of great marketing. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

I know that you might be bored after 1 post (they must know by now what I mean. Why would I send a second email). But repetition works. And once you have found something that works: do more of that. Check everything, never assume and always improve.
