Let's have a little heart-to-heart about all those quizzes and tests you ( and I) have taken over the years.
Yes, I'm talking about those personality tests, astrology readings, the MBTIs, archetypes, Enneagram, human design charts, Strengthfinder, Disqus, etc., etc.
The Harsh Reality of Your Quiz Results
How often have we taken a test and thought, "Wow, that's interesting"?
You get a rush of excitement as you read through your results, only to have it all fizzle out into a vague, "Okay, so I'm very sensitive and smart. Well interesting.", only moments later. And poof! It's all gone.
We've all been there. I have created over 10 of these tests myself and I love it! Many of those tests, quizzes, and readings are amazing!!
But here's the hard truth: after a lifetime of thinking we're not good enough, hiding the best of us, and seldom feeling that we fully belong: these test results mean nothing!
I can send you a personal message and write: "Hey, wonderful you! You are an amazing human being."
We both know it's true! Because you ARE an amazing human being.
It might give you a three-second lift until the inner voice goes: "Meh, she doesn't even know me . . .
Until you feel the outcome of your test results in your bones, accept it with every fiber of your being, live it out loud, and use that strength like the powerhouse that you are, it's just information.
And let's be honest, you don't need more information; you need a great indication of all the good things inside your Zone of Genius!

So, What Should You Do Instead to find The True Power of your Zone of Genius?
- Write It All Down
Get all your test results. Yes, everything. The more detailed you are, the better overview you'll get of the challenges and strengths you’ve overcome or you're just super good at. Please don't skimp on this step; it’s your foundation. - Look for Patterns:
After documenting everything, revisit your notes and look for repeated themes or traits. What keeps cropping up? Underline these repeated elements and move them to your "Connect" page. These traits are your goldmine.
Little side-note: Can I take myself as an example? I'm really good at finding and processing patterns. Yes, I'm a bit of a mad scientist.
For years I thought everyone could see them. Turned out it's a huge genius. I have been missing out on money and clients for years because I didn't know how to properly market my Zone of Genius! - Claim It, Market it, and sell it.
For each identified strength and challenge, affirm that you own it. Shift from “According to this test...” to “I know my strength is...”
Own it fully, feel it, embody and believe in it. This step is crucial – it's the difference between collecting dust and transforming your life.
