Part 1. The Basics of the Invisibility Cure

1. What is The Gap and why do you have to bridge it?

  • Focusing on the right 5% of potential clients.
  • Growing awareness of what makes you different from your peers.

Remember, taking immediate action is key to your success.
It's vital to keep your customers updated, even if you don't have all the details yet, to help your business grow.

2. What are you selling? Does your audience understand you created it for them?

  • Find your audience online in special user groups. Watch the video to for the instructions.
  • Go to where your clients are, instead of just roaming around.
  • Helping is just another way of proving (but don’t overdo it)
  • If you know your archetype, USE that in your communication (because it contains your superpowers
  • You will often find clients AND business buddies in groups that come with a program.
  • That’s why everyone ALWAYS needs to know what problems/issues you solve, why they should choose you over someone else.
  • Once you know who you are looking for AND what you solve, AND why you are different, you can find clients in message threads, groups, libraries, in offline groups, and online groups 

12. Research your soul audience

  • What do your soul clients (to be) really say?
  • What words are they using?
  • How do they support each other?
  • How do they refer to specialists - like you?
  • Who does she instantly want to support, and how not?
  • Are there patterns, words, sentences, fears, hopes, and desires that keep coming back?
  • Who are they? Educated, self-made, entrepreneurs, single? Leaders?
  • Are they complainers only, regularly want to vent, but also want to change?
  • Are they doers or dreamers?
  • Since she is that type of parent too, she reacts now and then. Not to sell, but to genuinely help people. This results in friendships and ultimately in clients.

13. Find the patterns and connection that make your audience a community

If you make a mistake, something that normally makes you run for cover (you accidentally send three emails), but they go: β€œIt’s absolutely fine. At least I will never forget.’

You feel connected to them; you feel there’s love there. 

Write 2 or 3 names of people who pop up (and research them, understanding why they pop up is everything!)

14. Find the patterns and connection that make your audience a community

This is advanced, but if you can pull this off, finding the patterns and make a community of your audience is a game changer!

Example:

In 2016, I found out that the people who naturally gravitated towards me had a couple of things in common:

They were very sensitive, often introverted, almost always multi-passionate, and fiercely bright. Many of them are ADHD, AuDHD, autistic, and neurodivergent.

They struggle with β€˜promoting themselves’ because it doesn't give them a lot of energy. They hyperfocus like crazy, have a wicked sense of humor, and are old souls. They need time. If I ask them something, it can take a while until I get an answer. I can’t push them; I need to hold space where they can do their thing in a structured roadmap that follows their pace.

15. Look deeper than what you can see: the desires and needs of your audience

Step 1: You might think I’m just another [what it is you do]

Sally: When you read about the work I do with families, you might think I’m just another family therapist who tells you what you’re doing wrong.

Step 2: But what (really) happens / But what I (really) do / when I team up/ work

Sally: But what really happens is that my clients can finally sleep again because they feel safe and connected. Instead of 3 days of silent treatment, they argue for 30 minutes, and all parties feel seen and loved again.

Step 3. Write what kind of magic happens.

Sally: Yesterday, I heard the story of a client who has avoided school runs for months because she dreaded the teachers' disapproving looks. She picked up her kid and nodded to every teacher. There were zero disapproving looks. And she realized she had been so angry with herself for being a failure that she misinterpreted everyone as angry with her.
She wrote: When I started to work with you; I thought you were a quick fix. I could never have dreamed of the peace that I feel right now.
