Creativity, Abundance and money. The antidote to Ugly Question #1

“Do you dream of an income you – know, feel, hope, or wish – deserve? But prefer dreaming about, instead of acting upon?”

Seriously, I don’t know what has gone into me to start with the ugliest question of them all!

According to quite a few of you wonderful people, a lot (or all!) questions were ugly. But the money question is EXTRA UGLY!

So, why is that? Because we Creative People are extra weird when it comes to money. We feel we have to create beautiful stuff and focus all our attention to something we love.

Or to feeling sorry for ourselves because it’s not special, beautiful, amazing enough.. but that’s a whole different question. But after creating our magic, we have to ask money for it.

Entrée Le Problème!

Because we chose freedom, independence, doing the things we love, we are punishing ourselves with: “Really? Wow that’s expensive. I can’t ask that!”. Or the nasty let’s-make-my-worth-super-small: “I’ll ask 45 dollar for an hour of massage, otherwise nobody will show up!”

Money, upbringing, self-worth, beliefs, fear, belief, anxiety, faith… they’re all so closely related it’s almost sickening.

There is so much to say about money (check out the libraries of books that were written about it).

So here’s what I’m asking you to do:
Think, feel, write about the feeling money gives you. Is it bad, or good, is it energy, love, hate, war, is it non-spiritual, are you a ‘better’ person with or without money? What is the first thing you feel when I say: money to you?

What happens to you when I say: “Come on, get out there. make money. Make a lot of it. Do your magic. And when you have it, share it, do good. change the world”

Think about the lack of money, about having it, or not, about losing it, the role of money when you were a child, asking money for your services or products, how much money you feel you deserve.
Also think about how much money you think you need to make you the confident owner of a thriving creative business.

When I mentor my clients  we discuss, feel, try-out, change and uncreate money blocks. It’s one of the first things we do, because you are not alone in this!

I refer you to some people who know everything about it. Check them out. I hope there is someone in the video’s you connect with. Learn from them!

So, I leave you with this. Don’t beat yourself over this.

You can heal all your negative feelings about money and replace them with the good ones that will bring you abundance. I have total faith in that!

Okay here we go, fasten your seat belts Honey. It’s going to be a bumpy road. Here are the 10 ugly  – but written with love – questions!

# Q. 1 Do you dream of an income you – know, feel, hope, or wish – deserve? But prefer dreaming about, instead of acting upon it?

#Q. 2 Do you rather spend more time with your fellow coaches, therapists, artists, designers, musicians or any other sort of form of colleague, than with your actual business?

#Q. 3 Do you know for sure you still need to learn more, get an extra certification, understand better and study more, BEFORE you show your stuff – and yourself – to the world?

#Q. 4 Do you think it’s crazy to change something about your website, your business cards, business name… because: „argh… what would people think”?

#Q. 5 Do you work for (and with) e-ve-ry-bo-dy. Because you’re afraid you would miss out if you work for a more narrowly defined group: your so-called Ideal Customer?

#Q. 6 Do your cheeks turn red, your shoulders tight and are you lost for words, when people ask you: “what is your profession?”

#Q. 7 Do you rather pay for more education than ask Real Money for your services?

#Q. 8 Do you say: “yes I can do this” and feel: “but I don’t know how, and to be be totally honest I don’t truly believe it either“!

#Q. 9 Do you stop yourself acting upon something – from creating a new business to starting a service or product – because other people have already done that?

#Q. 10 Do you have a secret fear people might actually SEE THE REAL YOU, and what they see is a Big Old Fraud?
