Do You Want The Magical Make Dreams Come True Formula?

If you have children - or if you recall being one - you remember that glorious sense of bewilderment being in a place where dreams become real.

Do you remember that childlike wonderment where everything is miraculous – where trust and faith are abundant.

For some it's Disneyland. Other's felt that wide-eyed wonder in the cinema. I had it when we visited the ruins of an old castle. I instantly transformed into a proud warrior princes picture a little 9-year-old girl with black hair who knows she's a very good looking Jeanne d'Arc and is about to change the world.

When we're young the smallest things are full of mystery – dough that transforms into cookies…snowflakes…a crab walking on the beach. And all you have to do is believe…  Like two little nerds, my brother and I worked for days on a magical pill that would take us wherever we wanted to go.

Yet as we become adults, the small little wonders become normal.
We are taught that these things are too little – too insignificant – or only just pretend.

We learn the real lessons of life. The magic begins to fade. We learn that magic is just an invention and dreams are just what they are. Dreams.

While loosing the magic we gain doubt. Self-criticism. Not being enough.

 It's a sheer miracle so many people still have magical dreams anyway!

So how do you retain that childlike quality of being able to wonder and make those dreams of yours come true?

What is the magic formula to making all of your dreams come true? 

It's courage and faith.

Aristotle asserted that “Courage is the first of human virtues because it makes all others possible.” Oh boy, do we need lots of courage. It took me a lot of courage to leave the fancy Corporate Consultancy Firm and start a completely new Business dedicated to Spread the Magic of Creativity by healing fear and obstacles.

I witness my clients courage when they feel the fear and do it anyway. Courage and faith in action. Because they have faith in their end result: a business that rocks, a precious joyful life, unlimited creativity.

Ernest Hemingway defined courage as “grace under pressure”. Maya Angelou believed courage to be the most important of the human virtues; “without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently.”

 It takes courage to have faith. It takes courage to tell a room full of determined people you don't agree. It takes courage to lean in that childhood state of wonder – to accept that perhaps you don’t have all the answers – to live into the mystery of life and the uncertainty that comes with it. It takes courage to pick up a pencil and draw a house. Especially when your childhood friend once told you  suck at drawing.
