Those programs were never created for the wonderfully weird ones, the neurodivergent, the old souls, pink sheep, sensitive multi-passionate deep thinkers or our life-long baggage.

1. Most branding experts tell you to choose 2 colors and stick with it.
I say Nope!, choose 5/6 colors that you can repeat / use and mix again (make sure you have the exact hex codes)

2. YOUR NAME AND FACE
Unless you’re Nike you don’t need a fancy logo or business name. Few people know that my business is called ‘A Brave Brand’. They see my name and face and that's what they remember.
So go with that first: Show your lovely face.
3. ADDED BENEFIT
Your weird works. Everything that stands out from beige and average is a point. Because that is what people remember.
4. YOUR PERSONAL STYLE
Hello free marketing. You've got your unique personal style. Use it! Yes, I've got the process to bottle it.

So start with that: How do you want people to feel when they see you, work with you, buy from you.

A. STEP ONE: WHAT DO YOU DESIRE? THE DESIRE LIST
At the end of each month you decide on what you want to achieve the coming month
*if you’re already in business for a longer time you also focus on the months of even years to come)
TTHIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF A DESIRE LIST
Next October I want to:
a. grow my email list with 100 more people
b. Sell my 79 Euro program 20 times (and make an extra € 1.580)
c. Set up my launch for November
d. Have 10 sales meetings with clients and 10 or 9 decide to work with me.
Can you see what you just did? You took control. You start with your desire. Your desire lives in your body and that makes it much easier to be persistent and deal with obstacles.
- B. STEP TWO SET UP YOUR MARKETING PIE
Your Monthly Marketing Pie is a mix of social media, SEO (Google friendly) and networking that you set up 100% focused on WHERE your future clients are.
1. Where are the people I want become my clients and want to market, what do they need?
A. My Marketing Pie for October is
a. Linkedin (that’s where my overworked professional parents are)
b. Instagram (that’s where my ‘Give me a fast solution’ mothers are)
c. The local Network for Young Professional mothers (who will be interested in my program that I launch in November)
d. Maybe YouTube (because I want to grow my channel to 500 within 2 months.
B. What do those people need to see, hear, feel, remember?
Decide on feelings, emotions you want to cause.
This is where you ask yourself:
▶︎ Are my clients aware of their pain, lack or desire?
▶︎ Are they searching for a solution?
► Are they stuck in their pain?
▶︎ How do I need to show up so that they see that I have the solution for them?
The answer to this will help you to focus on the type of content, the tone of voice etc. you want to go out.

If you want to do this on your own make sure you intimately understand who the people are who you’re marketing to so that they will buy from you!
You need much more than age and gender!

* These people only know that there’s a lack, I need to talk about that and I want them to show that there’s light at the tunnel and they need to get to know me and see me as the Expert.
d. Have 10 sales meetings with clients and 10 or 9 decide to work with me.
* These people already know me, are aware of their pain and might feel that I can help them but need to feel seen, respected, heard. I need to show them in the sales call that I’m the one for them!

Decide on the promotional material you want to go out the next month
If your Brand, Personal Style and Personal Style Bank are set up, that makes everything much easier.
But if not, start! Because that's the only way to find out if something works, or not. In The Real You we create this together.

c. The local Network for Young Professional mothers
(who will be interested in my program that I launch in November)
Do you have business cards? Bring those. Not? Don’t worry
► - Create 1 page on a website specifically for them.
► - Low tech (give them the link on a piece of paper, or type in their phone, or send to to them via messenger)
► - Middle tech ;-) let them scan it (only do this when you already know how to do this)
► - Stay in contact after the meeting, reach out to people (reserve time in calendar after the meeting) and instead of selling, share how much you enjoyed meeting them, ask them non-sales questions, set up a business friendship.
Instead of selling to them, let them be your referrals and be a good referral for them as well.
d. Maybe YouTube

Use the texts you wrote for Linkedin as guidance for your YouTube video.

4. CREATE IT
Now, if you have set up your Canva you're ready to dive in. (colors, fonts, Personal Bank, all post sizes etc.)
If you’re not there yet that’s totally okay, play with what you’ve got.
When you join The Real You we've got you covered. We’ve got a Canva Library in The Real You that we got up to date. As well as all sizes, tips and tricks to make this easy and fun for you.
There are a couple of things you can do now.
A. Start with what you love the most
B. Start with what you don’t like so much
C. Try (as much as possible to finish one project before you start the next one) Yes! This is all about accountability You can also use the scheduler in Canva to schedule if you want that.
5. SCHEDULE IT
It’s time to schedule, share and R & R.
In the Real You we add it to our Monthly Board (where we keep track of everything like growth, money made, things you sold, email list growth etc).
All links to the media in Canva are there as well.
You can use a scheduler, Meta business suite, or just schedule it at the start of each week. But the most important part is that you’ve got everything ready so that you can do what you really want to do.
In the Real You program we value accountability. But if you don’t have access to that I highly advise you to find a business friend and do this together.It’s so easy to drop out and spiral into shame, overwhelm, resentment etc.
